Hello FF people!

Im preparing for our annual family trip back to France. First time as a family of 4 with 2 kids and their own seat.

We are flying Y so don't fear, we wont be the one breaking the piece at the front :)

We're flying EY.

What seats would you book in the A380-800? The whole middle row - 4 seats?
Or would you try and book two 3 seats rows by putting one traveller in the window seat and another on the aisle? At the back of the plane that is usually less busy...
A little bit cheeky I know, so not sure if that's an acceptable booking behavior.

Cheers!

Having flown with kids previously, I've found that booking 2 adjacent rows window seat pairs can result in a chance for the kids to gawk out the window, and also close proximity to talk. If you're feeling lucky book the window+isle, and hope that nobody gets put between you, for a bit of extra space for books and blankets on the spare seat between you.

Booking as far forward as always is recommended. Last time we flew Emirates to the UK, we ended up all the way to the front on the lower level, as the whole level was economy. (row 43 was the first row of seats)

Air France configures their aircraft with business class in front...
