hey guys,

Just curious to see how often you have to use the claim missing points button and how often that fails and you have to email or call?

I just got knocked back (claim missing points button) saying no record of flight, but they had me in economy, how did they know that if there was no record? and of course the rest of my family were credited appropriately. So, another email and another BP attachment etc.

Whats your experience?

damn, must be me... everytime it is on my BP correctly. I believe it was close to 100% prior to 2013 but since then i would guess 50/50

My stuff always booked through AA.com (USA) website. Years ago used to have issues when booked via QF website. Also, when putting QF number is use all digits and add zeroes if you have a low number.

Never had a problem with AA.

I have consistently (75%+ of the time out of half a dozen flights) had a problem with RJ, and have subsequently "lost" some ~80 SCs after misplacing a boarding pass (even though they were happy to credit my wife - albeit after sending a copy of her BP - and we were travelling on the same DONE4).
