F Lounge @ LHR T4?

Does anyone know when any OneWorld F Lounge at LHR T4 will be coming back, if ever?

BA Terraces lounge at T4 is pretty horrid due to over-crowding, so I am thinking of parting with some money to have my return ticket re-issued through FRA if F lounge at T4 is not coming back.

Currently, the T4 F lounge is closed - there are no plans to re-open as a oneworld lounge.

If you are travelling First Class, "The Concorde room" at Gate 10 may still be available to you. (I believe this is to close on September 17th however. )

Early next year, most of the OneWorld airlines will be moving to Terminal 3. So expect new OneWorld lounges in T3 similar to what has been done at LAX TBIT. QF flights as well as BA flights on the JSA routes to Australia will use T3. I am not sure of the actual planned date for the QF move from T4 to T3, and experience tells us that any such dates are going to be very rubbery anyway.

There certainly is construction work going on at T3 at the moment, which I assume is in readiness for the relocation of other OneWorld airlines to that terminal. CX and AA already use T3.

Terminal 4 is supposed to become the terminal for non-aligned airlines.
