F class Award not available-SYD->AKL on 03Oct15-Using all points only-54000 FF points

not available on that date of the (SA) long weekend. J award seating also not available, only Y is available on the EK flight as follows: This is for the EK flight with a QF flight number, dep SYD at 7.50am. EK412/QF8764.
Points plus pay the other other way to go then?
By then will have 45000 enough to reduce $1285 to about $950 or so.
Cant wait to get into F lounge.
If I points plus pay, I get 120 SCs fro SYD to AKL. Plus 10 SC for flying discY ADL to SYD the day before.

Can you points plus play onto EK metal??

I have no idea - never had the urge to try.

Yes you can, I have done that same trip but if you want F you will need to book it as EK as QF don't do the F class. Won't get SC's for EK though

Yep that's what I meant.

You can't earn SCs on EK metal through point plus pay.
