We have created an Arrivals Lounge exclusively for our First and Business Class guests at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

After landing, enjoy an energising shower, have your clothes pressed or freshen up with our new wet shave service, Shave by Etihad Airways. Replenish with our international buffet and catch up on emails at the Business Centre.

And when you’re ready to leave, the Etihad Chauffeur Service will take you from Abu Dhabi International Airport to anywhere in the UAE.

On departure, experience our new spacious Etihad Airways First and Business Class Lounge with all the facilities you love, including a family room, Six Senses Spa, Business Centre, library, three international buffet stations, coffee stations and a concierge service.

Now you can dine, relax, work and freshen up before and after your flight with Etihad

In the lounge now, very very nice. The wife and daughter are in getting a full massage. Plenty of food options. Buffet only, no
à la carte as advertised. Beautiful lounge all the same. Also had a personal shaver do his magic, very swank. M

Any clarity on admittance policy? Strictly first and business class passengers or elite status passengers as well?

First and Business and as WP you can take one guest as they pointed out, however they we're happy to allow 4 pax in no problem. We flew in J with connecting Y.

I'm arriving AUH in about 3 weeks as a WP traveling Y so I rang the Etihad line to ask about the lounge admission policies... The EY rep put me on hold and asked a supervisor then came back with a simple 'yes', but he didn't sound very sure or confident about that answer so I will wait and see.

Then the EY rep quoted the wrong checked baggage allowance, so I'm guessing that the EY phone staff really don't have much of a clue about their own policies anyway... so not much help there.

I can now report that it is strictly first and business class passengers. No elite guests travelling Y.

I almost missed the "Exclusively for our First Class and Business Class guests" in the heading on the website:
Arrivals Lounge

Will get to try it out next week after my 0530 arrival into Auh:shock:....great to be able to freshen up, have breakfast before heading to my hotel which I'm sure I will be too early to check in...ps can someone clarify the exact location of the arrivals lounge? It says immediately after customs so presumably you collect your bags etc, go pass customs, and there it should be...

Hotels in AUH seem to be fine with early check in if rooms available, checked into Hilton around 8am with no problems before.

Arrivals lounge was very empty when I was there......more staff than guests.....had a shave and a shower and a coffee and was out of there. Nice to check out briefly, but not overly interesting to hang round in

I guess we are talking Terminal 3? After you clear customs you go down a bit of a ramp and its on your right. T3 is getting a bit old these days, so its a bit busy, but obvious enough. I posted a bit about the arrivals lounge here. I too thought I would kill some time there so as not to get to my hotel too early (limo to Dubai in my case) but I found the lounge a bit disappointing, so I shoved off before too long.

Dear KPC,

Thanks for getting in touch with us regarding our lounge. We can confirmthe lounge is situated after immigration, you will be able to collect your luggage and head straight to the lounge. [

We hope this helps and you enjoy our arrivals lounge
