Hi all,

I have a SIA flight coming up and entered by Velocity number during booking. I am gold status and according to Velocity website I get an extra 15KG with SIA.
This does not show on my booking so wondering if this only gets activated during checking?

Last thing I want is to head to the aiport with 15KG extra luggage and then it does not work and I need to pay a crazy fee!

Yea, your ticket or generated itinerary will never show any additional baggage allowance you get due to another airlines status. Quite common.

I'm in a similar situation and have a related question. I'm flying Canberra-Brisbane on Virgin then Brisbane-Singapore with Singapore Airlines. I have gold Velocity status. Does the extra 15kg also apply to the Virgin flight from Canberra-Brisbane? Both legs are on a single booking, and in Economy.
