Has anyone heard from their travel insurance provider about complimentary extensions of cover coming out of the restrictions, or been offered anything special when it came time to renew their policy?
With movements severely restricted for a few months during national lockdown, there were murmurs that insurers were getting big advantages as there was less risk/claims across various products - resulting in changed offers to health and car insurance policies. I figured something similar would happen for travel insurance - and now that domestic travel is back on the agenda and being covered, there would be some sort of announcements.
I'm with Good2Go (Worldwide Platinum) and have seen nothing mentioned on their (or AIG's) website.
