We both did the QR status match back in 2020 (I was silver Velocity and partner was gold at that time). We kept getting extensions which has been useful as we put the QR number in reward bookings to get the sapphire status. About to fly with a group back to Australia and trying to ensure we can get 7 into the QC lounge with various passes, guest entitlements etc... In short, we need gold Qatar to get partner in plus one guest!

I am locked out of partner's QR account and the status is not showing on the QF system (this has been the case anyway so nothing unusual there). My QR silver seems to have been extended to 31 March even though I have never used it and not quoted it anywhere as I have QF gold.

Is there anyone out there with a QR gold that was status matched who has also been extended to March 31?

And before anyone says reset the password, by annoying coincidence, we changed emails / mobile and I forgot QR has the old details. I've tried the email hard reset thing but no reply...

My gold status (also acquired thru Velocity status match in 2020) was supposed to end in Dec23. Which was a bummer because I didn’t flow Qatar once since becoming gold. What a pleasant surprise to get the notification that my status had been extended to 31 March 2024. We just flew back to Aus last night, total of 25 hrs in J so couldn’t complain. Qsuites to Doha was mindblowing. I can confirm I used my Gold status for Al Maha service at Hamad Airp to expedite my daughter who is in Economy at immigration (I also qualified as J class pax). I could have gone to Al Mourjan as J pax but opted for Gold lounge so she could join me using my guest pass.

The good news. is Sapphire is still showing on boarding cards with Qantas. So on way home we can all get in WLG lounge. But will go our separate ways in MEL, as not enough guest passes to cover everyone. Still haven’t been able to unlock QR account…
