Saw this email the other day and this in particular caught my attention.

“Velocity Frequent Flyer members who have linked their membership through KrisFlyer will accrue Velocity Status Credits and PPS Value simultaneously when flying in Suites, First Class or Business Class on Singapore Airlines”

Is PPS accrual new or has this always been the case? Would be interesting to see to see if this could be earned on VA codeshares operated by Singapore. Would also potentially give Star Gold benefits via PPS.

I was accruing PPS credits on KrisFlyer and earning miles/status on other partner programs (eg AirNZ) almost 20 years ago now. Nothing new about this. I think linking the partner program through the KrisFlyer account is something relatively recent (perhaps in last 10 years or so).
