For once, here's a media request from an actually AFFer! I know this little area doesn't get much attention, so I'm hoping it gets shared around a bit.

Amongst our ranks are a number of Australians living abroad, and I'm sure plenty of foreigners living here in Australia.

I'm on the hunt for these people for a side project I'm working on — a travel magazine (of sorts) that focuses on the life, experiences and stories of expats living abroad from their home country.

If you're interested in taking part, or can refer me to someone who's doing interesting things abroad, please shoot me an email ([email protected]) or PM me as I'd love to chat!

Thanks in advance all you good people.

Thanks so much to those of you who have got in touch so far! I really appreciate it.

My group of expats so far all include links to Australia (either living in, or originating from) which is great, but also hoping to find expats from the rest of the world who are living in countries that aren't Australia, the US or UK. Diversity is my challenge at the moment.

If you know of anyone, any tip offs would be so helpful!

Thanks again.

Hi all! Quick update on this (and some self promotion):

I'll be launching the project with a weekly email newsletter focussed on cities through the eyes of expats. There should be some really interesting stories in there, and when the magazine starts to come together, you can stay updated on that too.

It should interest all of those travel nuts out there (hence why you're reading this on AFF) who, while loving their F and J cabins, also love exploring new cities and find the residents of those cities equally fascinating.

You can subscribe over here: aerostorie.com/weekender.

Also, I'm still on the hunt for expats all over the world, so if you know of anyone please point them in my direction!

I've only just stumbled on this thread. How is the research going? Could be an interesting concept.

Good timing!

I've just put the site into soft launch: aerostorie.com, if anyone wants to check it out (sorry for the plug!).

I'm finishing a content plan for the coming months, so there's more to come, but I'm launching with a single profile right now. It's a lot of work but there's some great stories out there which I'm getting finished up and ready to publish.

Also, thanks again to everyone who got in touch! If there's anyone else out there, I still want to hear from you :)

After stumbling across this thread this morning I have also signed up to The Aerostorie Weekender.
Sounds like a great read !

Thanks Cool Cat!

Looks like I had a broken form though! I couldn't see any new email addresses coming in via the landing page (only the footer) – do you mind trying again?
