Executive lounge at Hilton Auckland?

Hi All,

I hope everyone is well. I am looking at booking 5 nights at the Hilton Auckland in July but it is pretty expensive compared to some other properties at the same time. One thing that would sway me is the benefits available to me as a Diamond member.

Is anyone aware of the benefits for Diamond HHonors members at the Auckland property?

There is no exec lounge at Hilton Auckland.
Last year I received full breakfast plus 2 x drink vouchers per night.
Also an upgrade to a harbour view room.

Really nice hotel and I liked the location - great if you can get a good rate.

I had a lengthy chat with management about it - they report that since they're a small boutique property, they're unable to offer an Executive Lounge (not economically viable), so it's unlikely to happen. Which is a pity, because I miss it when I stay there!

Agree decent clean modern property in a great location

My experience mirrors Fifa's. It certainly can be an expensive property. While it is very nice there are some quite good alternatives available should the prices be silly.

BTW OP, your profile says HH Plat - you mean Diamond?

Sorry, Yes I do mean Diamond - so many different ways to come up with DYKWIA...

Looks like I will be looking at different properties if theres no EL as it seems pretty expensive during July when I am in town

The lack of a lounge at Auckland Hilton has cost them a two room stay with us. As we have an early morning flight out, I'm choosing instead an airport hotel as we'd miss breakfast anyway and no lounge = no overnight perks except a bottle of water for an expensive stay.........
