Nice one Drron . Perhaps one slight difference, is that Ivana probably didn't claim provocation in the use of the language. She might even think it was worth getting kick off to get away from the little "cough****s"

Another difference is that unlike the Jetstar case, the staff here maintained control of the situation.

I also argue that Ivana got away with her language outburst, which was far worse than the jetstar case. I wonder if money had anything to do with it

It notes the sheriffs office wont take further action, so I wonder if the parents could bring a civil suit for inappropriate language spoken to their kids. Is that abuse? Haha.

Regardless, I’d take her account of “running and screaming kids” with a grain of salt, seeing as she’s the one in trouble and would need to justify her language. They can’t have been that bad. So I wouldn’t imagine anything would need to be done to the kids or parents, unless the airline wanted to offer them some form of compensation for her abuse.

B - Fat people.

Reason: Because you can't do much about them - they can hardly diet / exercise away their fat in the time you have on the plane. I have donated a Mens Health to a fat person before on a plane though!

Snorers - I've woken people up to stop them / put on headphones
Kids - I've asked parents and in one case FA to shut kids up (then got upgraded in flight!)

It really depends how old the children are. Babies are a nightmare unless the parents packed their cough syrup *cough* rohypnol *cough*. Pre-teens can be bad, but could also be perfect, and teens are in their own world

I’m fairly thin, so I doubt a fat person would upset me if they encroached on my space a little. If they did a lot I’d just prod them, I have no qualms with that.

So it would have to be snorers, sure, I can put on some headphones, but I don’t carry noise cancelling ones with me, and if they were right next to me, I doubt they’d work well.

Not that I can remember, my worst experience was when I was about 11, sat between two drunk and smelly guys back from the UK. Considering my size, if they’d encroached on my personal space I wouldn’t have cared, but they reeked of booze and snored the whole way… not so good.

It's pretty unpleasant. Babies and snorers I can cope with using booze and sleeping tablets; pax of size who encroach in to your personal space is something that's really hard to ignore ... it's one of the (many) reasons I try really hard to avoid flying in whY on AA.
