Hey all,
I'm at the EVA Air Evergreen J Lounge at the moment. I'm about to board DragonAir/Cathay flight TPE-HKG-CGK. I"m taking advantage of the Business Saver I class fares.
Firstly, it's a fairly big lounge. Around the same size as the Qantas International Business lounge in MEL. It isn't partitioned in to two distinct sections though. However, there are columns and plants around to help with privacy. As the name suggests, the style/theme of the lounge is green.
Food: Different assortment of Chinese steamed buns, congee, hot dogs (like the ones at a servo), toast machine, 2 soup, plain rice, one asian beef stew, a few noodles, bacon, hash browns and scrabled eggs. All pretty tasty and frequently checked and freshened up by the staff.
Drinks: Big fridge with Juice boxes, water, beers (heineken and Kirin), obligatory spirits and some awful looking French red. Two coffee machines available.
Wireless: Good signal. Some sites have loaded up a little slowly though but it was quite busy before.
Bathroom: Only saw the mens. One shower (didn't use), plenty of stalls/urinals.
Entertainment: XBOX360 room. Big LCDs, 3 tvs and 3 games to choose from. One side of the lounge also has a big screen nearby.
Overall: Bit of an 80's Regal asian hotel vibe but it's clean, well staffed, comfy and food is adequate. There are a few corners where you could get some shut eye too - depending on how busy the lounge is...
