I'm looking to use some the miles we warehoused at KrisFlyer before the Amex devaluation, before they expire in 2022. At the moment the plan is to go to Europe for about four weeks (a week either side of the school holidays) in either March/April or September/October 2021. We'll definitely want to redeem the miles for J or better for at least the missus and me; we'll either bring one of my parents or one of my in-laws to accompany the kids, or let the kids (~10, ~8 by then) become accustomed to J finally. (We also may try for discounted cash J fares for them, if better value than with miles.)

In general, we'd have fewer conflicts in March/April and (pricing now for 2020, for Paris as an example) accommodation seems cheaper in the couple of weeks after Easter than in late September. If we want to spend roughly five to seven days in each of these, are March/April or September/October better? Obviously Rome would be crazy at Easter (as would parts of Spain, although that's not on the list this time), but how long before/after Easter is an April visit more pleasant?

Dublin and Galway (including visit to family)
London to Edinburgh
Paris and environs
Rome and Tuscany
