Can't wait for the Aussie press to pick this up and refer to them as Virgin Australia equity partners/shareholders/bank rollers

Oh...wait...not Qantas...nothing to see here...

Also according to the story they won't carry Israeli passport holders. Wonder if that's in breach of Australian discrimination laws? Hmm I think so.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Where was your crying wolf when Palestine was wiped off the maps so many years ago? Disclaimer: I am not an Arab, have no affiliations with Arabs, no relation to any Arab, no relation to Etihad airways, and certainly no specific sympathy for any particular group, but I hate it when people try to shove political-correctness down my throat only when it suits them.

If one is to hold a certain standard, it should be adhered to under all circumstances. If we promote free markets and tolerance, then an airline should be free to choose what services they offer and to what extent they offer it. If one has a problem with that, one should take his/her business elsewhere. Isn't this what we've been told the free market is all about? Just saying...

I believe that Israel passport holders can fly EK, but must be in transit. In the event of a disruption, they must stay in an airside airport hotel.

There's nothing new about all of this by the way. Anyway, how many Jewish pax do we think would want to fly those airlines anyway?

Same for EY and MH, so long as your not going to Malaysia or UAE AFAIK no issues. Refusal to carry because you won't get entry at the destination is nothing new.

This post is about Israeli's..Not Jews.

Fair enough. However, the last that I saw was that the Jewish make up more than 80% of the population of Israel. There wouldn't be too many wanting to check out Dubai, Jewish or not, wherever they live.

Also, I saw the link in Post #1 which mentions:

... Crews trained to recognise Jewish passengers by their 'accents and traits' ...

If an Australian did that they would be called racist.

Malaysia doesn't allow transit.
