Hi everyone, just got back today from flying first clas (Diamond class) to Britainwith Etihud, It was great. The only bummer was that I had paid first class all the way and because they didn't have diamond class seating in the plane to Manchester from Abi Dabi I got shafted to the Business Lounge after I got off the plane from Sydney. Now that may sound " so what I had to wait in the airport on hard seats for 12 hours on my second leg" kind of thing! But, the point of it is that if you pay first class you should get what you paid for and I felt they didn't honour that.

Anyone had any problems?

Re: ETIHUD Travel

First is only available on A340-500/600's
MAN flight is on a A332

Now just for fun i went and stried to book SYD-AUH-MAN and it clearly states as the travel class only Diamond, with no * or comments of anything.
But after you select flights and get to the fare summary screen it is very apparent what the travel class is in each leg of the journey.

So i could not fault the web booking, or did you use a travel agent ?

Just something you need to pay attention to, but Etihad do not at all attempt to hide that some legs are in J/C (business - pearl) class at all.
