Apologies if this has been posted before, Is there any "word on the street" if Emirates will ever return to Adelaide?

Cheers

I’m surprised they haven’t.
From memory it was very well patronised.
I remember Sir Tim saying that they surprised how well F was doing on the route

It seemed to be full every time we boarded. Because multiple times we were upgraded from Y to J and once, J to F. All award flights to boot. They were the days. 🥹

I booked my parents a Y fare and they got upgraded to J due to being overbooked.
Fingers emirates and cathay come back to provide some price competition to Qatar and Singapore.

Cathay is meant to be returning in November as was China Southern. Rumour was Emirates to return early in 2024 but nothing further on that unfortunately

At least with EK returning to ADL, QF flyers will have an option again to fly to Europe without having to get an additional domestic flight to leave Australia.

Yes
For which we will often pay a premium

It’s also to do with the pricing structure of each individual flight And How many seats on a 777 v 380

With the rewards flight being of equal “cost”, and more on the 380 I ended up flying to Melbourne to jump aboard lol for the “shower experience”

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

And F lounge?
Oh yeah
And the F lounge !!!

Which reminds me the time I did do it I flew out of Sydney
And flew into Melbourne and I was given chauffeured cars in/out of Melbourne as the timing was a 10 hour gap !

Returning October 28th, with a daily 777-200 service which has J and Y only
