Hi all,

Pulled up the menu and really nothing for family member other than fruit to eat?
They eat FISH, no oil and no dressing\oil\butter on vegetables.
They are flying business class, can they preorder?

There are a range of dietary options available, perhaps one of those will be suitable? If nothing matches, you can always contact the airline and ask them to put in a special request, although while airlines will always try their best, there's no guarantees.

The list of special meals available including a full description of what is and isn't included can be found here: Dietary Requirements | Essential Information | Emirates Australia

Sorry, not sure what you mean. I've done that flight and the range of food was quite good. Are saying the only thing they are able to eat is fish?

I had a look at the menu for flight and it had prawns only..... No special menu mentioned on searching website. Shell fish.... Don't cut it due to health issues.
Thanks for the link

Perhaps calling Emirates with a request for a low calorie meal (IIRC that came without any dressings or oil?) and ask them to put through a note for fish+low calorie. That way the kitchens might be able to add a piece of fish on the side. Even if they can't do the fish the rest of the meal might be at least edible.

I think their low-calorie or low cholesterol special order meal is going to be your best bet.

They state in their website that variations from their (impressive) list of special meals will not be entertained.

There is plenty of food in the club lounge, maybe have some of that then try the appetisers, we found food in Emirates business better than most airlines

Emirates are pretty good at catering to people with very specific dietary requirements, especially to those travelling in premium cabins. You should get them to contact Emirates and let them know their dietary requirements, I'm sure they'll have an option that will be suitable.
