Hi guys,

I took a flight from JFK to SYD via Hawaiian Airlines needing 60 status credits for Gold on 1st October. These haven't been credited yet and I have quite a large amount of status credits expire since then so I'm now about 100 credits short.

Just wondering for peace of mind whether I'll still be eligible for Gold since if it was processed on time I'd be over 500 status credits? Also does anyone know how long Hawaiian Airline flights take to be credited usually? Thanks

Your status credits should count on the day you took the flight, regardless of when they post.

So if your flight was on 1 October, they will count from that day.

Your membership year expires end of October?

My membership for silver expires in December, but I have a lot of expiring status credits this month and my only chance to get Gold was really after this trip.

Once your HA status credits drop in if you are still at 500 you'll automatically be upgraded. If you've already had status credits expire but the HA activity date shows prior to them expiring, call VFF and ask them to do the calculation. You'll get the upgrade processed that way. Enjoy!

One year my husband status dropped because they hadnt processed SCs from a flight he took before his renewal date.

I phoned helpdesk and was asked to email with the info, asking them to do a retro review. His status was bumped up after about a week.

Good luck.
