EK Upgrade SC & Points Question for QF SG

So I purchased and flew QF8404 SIN-MEL (EK404) in Economy for the 13th July 2015 and was upgraded at the gate to Business (Which I assume is due to my QF SG)

I've been credited with the purchased fares SC and Points (40 SC & 6825 Points)

My question is: Am I entitled now to the Business class SC & Points? (120 SC & 11700 Points)

But on the positive side, you were upgraded! was it a request you put in? or a pleasant surprise at the gate?

I've got CPH>DXB>SYD on EK as a QF Codeshare coming up later this year, hoping they see my WP status and move me out of Economy...One can hope

EK appear to have a history of overselling Y - there's a reasonable chance of being bumped up at check-in, if the flight is oversold - good luck with it!

We have had great luck with EK and status.

This may not necessarily be the (sole) reason for the op-up.

You should be happy with what you got, that flight was oversold by 41pax over all seats being filled with upgrades and 41 pax were otherwise accommodated on the following nights service whom I meet a few in the EK SIN lounge the following evening not being too excited about being bumped and an extra night in Singapore
