EK service reductions during November

Emirates is apparently reducing capacity to Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney for a 2-week period over November. 1 of 2 daily BNE-DXB services is cancelled, ADL-DXB drops to 5 flights per week and 1 daily SYD-DXB service is downgraded from an A380 to a 777-300ER.

Must be a quiet period.

Emirates during the month of November 2019 is adjusting service to Australia, mostly scheduled for 2-week period. Planned service changes as follow (effective dates listed below is based on Dubai departure)....

It’s only affecting these 3 routes to Australia, so my guess is quiet period.

Might just be a co-incidence but wonder if it has anything to do with the Milad un Nabi (Prophet’s Birthday) festivities

Mattg, historically Feb, May and Nov have been the quietest months.

Exception is early Feb inbound to Oz.

No school hols, and Nov, plus Feb outbound too close to Christmas school hols.
