Last month we flew business class EK Syd/Fra/Syd on a QF ticket. Have flown EK frequently and was disappointed with an older plane on all sectors - everything rattled, seats had lost their spring, toilets needed refurbishing, entertainment system didn't work on one sector forcing me to sit elsewhere from my partner in outbound leg, then both didn't work on inbound leg (!!), lounge in Dubai was very crowded and shower queue was 2 hours long (2 hour transit!).. It was just off their normally high stAndard. They are not cheap any more and I was disappointed. I wrote to EK and got this response :

"Thank you for your e-mail which has been forwarded to Qantas in accordance with our agreement with them.

As your ticket was booked and issued by Qantas, they will investigate and respond to you directly, irrespective of whether your
feedback relates to flights operated by Emirates."

No doubt Qantas will say .., not their plane and not their lounge so not their responsibility..

Seems bizarre that no one has accountability..
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, customer service is a very weak point at Emirates (and all the gulf airline really). I wouldn't waste your time with them. It's a frustrating experience that gets you nowhere. Try SQ or CX for a more consistent inflight experience.
