Hi all.

I have an upcoming economy CR booking on EK made via QFF (MUC-DXB-BNE). Points/taxes have been deducted and ticket number issued.

In QF MMB, the fare type is showing as "Economy (S)". I've read here that "S" denotes non-rev (i.e. staff) travel on EK, and that "N" is the code for Y awards. I'm not sure whether this is correct or not (and couldn't see anything on the EK website), so thought I would check if anyone with past experience with reward bookings on EK can confirm?

I swapped out an AA CR flight for this EK one via the call centre, so want to be sure it has been done correctly given the challenges experienced by some.

EK moved from N to S class a few years ago for Y awards. Don't believe everything you see on the internet...
Perfect, thanks! Thought that may be the case but (surprisingly) couldn’t find anything to confirm it on EK’s website.
