I imagine this has been discussed previously, however couldnt find anything specific

I have been travelling business internationally on SQ frequently and taking the miles and SC to my Velocity Card to maintain my status and also enjoy the FF Shop. I was however fortuitously informed by a nice SQ lounge attendant that I can also claim the PPS $ value for any business or first class fares. So I did the retroactive miles claim on my krisflyer account and was pleasently suprised to see the PPS Club indicator climb very close to PPS Club membership.

Anyone else doing the same?

In a word, no... But yes, you certianly can "double dip" with PPS credits and RDMs on a partner carrier.

FWIW, the SQ reedemable miles are far more valuable than the VA points anyway.

Did this previously when I flew SIN-BOM numerous times. The SQ counter staff in SIN seem to know what to do, but the Indian folks are hopeless. I cant post a link, but google "SQ newbie question: How do I double dip?".
