E190 seat maps wrong?

I recently flew SYD-MEL on an E190. Upon selecting my seat at check in I saw 12C was exit row so quickly selected it. Both DJ seat maps and SeatGuru show row 12 as exit row.

I get on the plane and the exit row is 11. WTF?

Did I miss something?

Did j have 1/2 config, it's a refit.

Reconfigured E190 with new business class interior? New config not on seatguru yet. If it was an old standard E190 then exit row should be row 12 on the old config.

That is a trap for young players keen to get an exit row seat, that may have got me as well.....

and yesterday i took 11F and it was an old config so still no exit row. WTF - kinda ridiculous that there is no way to predict the config and the seatmap.

Correct, I didn't get VH-ZPK. (From memory it was VH-ZPH on our emergency landing flight on Sunday night and then VH-ZPJ when we flew out Monday morning). I can't say I'm angry, I only paid $200 for the ticket and received the product exactly as described (two leather seats and business class service).
