Had some flight changes to my RTW booking via Qantas website back in Dec 2012.

How do I get an updated E-Ticket Itinerary & Receipt in PDF to take with me on the trip in April 2013?

Tried Qantas and Amadeus, check-my-trip etc. no luck.

Don't think you can get an updated PDF copy, may be wrong though.

Go here:
Manage your Qantas booking | Change flights | Check in | Select seats

Enter your booking reference in the "Email Itinerary" box on the right.

A new PDF copy will be generated and sent to you. Make sure your email address is on the booking.

I don't think Qantas re-send PDFs.
If you want the next best thing, go to classic.checkmytrip.com and view your e-ticket and PDF that (using Google Chrome is the easiest, unless you're on a Mac).

I can assure you, they do.

I just tested it with one of my bookings and got a fresh PDF in my inbox a minute later.

Must be very new as I tried it two weeks ago and got a plain text email.

You can also phone Qantas and ask for it again - they have an abridged one but can also email the full blown one if you want.

I have tried and successfully both these things.

Generally this Email Itinerary function only works if there has NOT been any changes to your booking since you booked it. Changes being any of the following:

1. Departure times/arrival times
2. Aircraft type changes
3. Flight number changes

As soon as any of the above happens, it will say email sent successfully but doesn't actually do anything.

No - new updated itinerary (PDF) showed all my flight changes, no's. etc (and there were plenty of them because some segments are with Iberia) and also my updated FF no.

Interesting to know, I know of several cases where once something changed in the itinerary, the PDF would not resend.

Have just tried to resend RTW itinerary from "manage bookings " and said successfully sent but nothing in my inbox as yet:confused:

Got my email instantly are you on the right section of 'manage your booking' because I was originally in the wrong section and the email was not an updated PDF itinerary.

Still no email and have tried twice now

Sometimes it works and some times it does not work.

Sometime it sends a mere screen print of what you see on Qantas.com.

I use another utility, but can't find the link currently.
 
I did exactly what you said Ewing and got a plain text eticket with no PDF attachment once again. Oh well.
