E-Rewards - earn Velocity points for your opinion

Took me about 4 years to get the minimum transfer level, not that I actively chased surveys and give up too. Most of the time the surveys were closed ie (message saying survey closed, before even getting to any questions), even if clicking the moment they hit my inbox.
I had a similar experience a few years ago.. It's probably cheaper (time wise) to fly somewhere and get the 5 points per $ spent than complete (or try to complete) enough surveys for the same number of points.

I got a survey about cars today. Got kicked out half way. Generally I tailor my answers to hopefully ensure I get the maximum points.

I see e-rewards as a good way to certain reward programs active.

I enrolled via PC and transfer points as they reach a transferable amount. However, I am torn between earning points and giving correct answers. I was thrown out of the car survey when I answered that I was not planning on buying a car in the near future - should have known better.

I hope I never need to rely on the results of these surveys.

LOL

That's where I got thrown out too! I said I was planning to purchase a car in 1-3 years...

Ah the many times I gave my informed expertise on IT in my multinational major company...

I signed up late last year as after earning 500 points and transferring them i got a free hit in the US Air DM Grand Slam, hopefully be able to do the same this year... But for longs tretches i see the alerts come in but don't even bother... Might try that Roy Morgan one???

Got kicked out of one survey because I selected I would not see some Tom Cruise film. I was even near the end of the survey!

Side4yrs, you need to update your profile. I can easily earn enough for a HH transfer every six to nine months - and that's with not bothering with every second to third survey.

I get surveys sent to me, but I don't even make screening, all I ever get these days is ...

"Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in this e-Rewards earning opportunity. We apologise, but this earning opportunity has expired."

LOL

Based on the useful advice on this site, I enrolled via an invite to HHonors instead of Velocity, got the automobile survey after a couple of days and managed to survive the question about when I was planning to buy a new car, only to be thrown out at the next one, whether I planned to buy a new car, an almost new car or a used car (hint: 'used car' is not the answer they are looking for)

I wonder whether I will see the Welcome bonus for this? In the email it says 'if you complete your first survey in 45 days', so that would indicate not.

Agree with Codash1099, that this does not encourage you to answer truthfully.... :(

You get a few. So should not have a problem getting that welcome bonus.

I have been with e-Rewards for 3-4 years and they are OK.

I usually earn 3,000-4,000 rewards points every year and I have transferred them to BMI (now that was good value) and Delta Skymiles. Keeps the account ticking over and ensures I continue to receive surveys.

I have received 3 surveys this week.
