Dublin Airport - Fast Track Security

I will be spending a couple of days in Dublin on my upcoming trip to to the UK & Ireland, and Amsterdam.

I haven’t been through Dublin Airport before. I’m departing Dublin for Amsterdam on a Wednesday 10am flight, so I will need to be at the airport during what I imagine will be a busier time of the day.

I’m just wondering if anyone has used the Dublin Airport security fast track service. Is it worth it (for €9.99)? Is it significantly faster? I generally don’t seem to be able to get to airports particularly early!

If you can afford it pay for it. There have been so many instances recently of systems going down or something unforeseen happening causing delays at DUB.
