We stayed at Millennium Towers a few years ago, they were fully self contained apartments, although I've noticed they are now full serviced apartments under the name Staycity apartments Dublin so no idea what they are like now. The benefits of this spot was it was only a walk over, and a stagger home across the ha'penny bridge from Temple Bar. There is a few cafe's nearby the entrance and the Luas (tram line) is right at the back door if you are going further afield. Dublin is easy to walk about and having been there a few times this was perhaps the best location I've stayed for convenience.

If you are in Temple Bar and find Simon Gynn playing covers in one of the pubs, normally at the Quays, stop and have a few pints and a listen. He is one of the best solo covers guys in Dublin.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Boof

Any of the good AFF folk have advice on Dublin Accommodation? Hotels or may even look at quality roomy apartment if such a thing exists.

FWIW we intended staying here Temple Bar Hotel,Boutique Hotels Dublin,Luxury Hotels Dublin- The Morgan Hotel Temple Bar in one of their One Bedroom Suites One Bedroom Suite but unfortunately booked out for 2 of the 7 nts we wanted (June 23 to 30).

Any advice suggestions greatly appreciated.

Heading to Dublin in a day or so. Staying at Doubletree 'The Morrison' and Clontarf Castle. Both have fairly decent reviews.
