Hello, we are flying Sydney/Dusseldorf with QF on 27/5, arriving Dubai @ 0035, & departing 28/5 @ 0830, with Emirates. In & out of terminal 3.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what we could do to pass time until the onward flight ?
We are not members of the Qantas Club & are only bronze members of QFF.
I had thought of purchasing a lounge pass to at least have some sort of comfort, if they are open during these hours.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I've got a similar layover in Dubai in a month's time. I think your options are:
1. Dubai Connect (do you qualify? Not sure).
2. Airport Hotel
3. Use a lounge

In the past I've used the gym in Singapore to break up the time and help with sleep, but I don't know if there's one in Dubai you could use. Cheers.

When you say 'pass the time' - that implies a waking activity. At that hour (even though your body clock is probably still in an Australian time zone) I can't think of anything useful downtown that might be open.

I'd check into the Dubai International Hotel, in terminals 1 and 3 at DXB. They obviously cater for just such early-hour transits, with a spa, fitness centre (pool etc). Its 'airside', so no need to go through immigration.
