Is it just double base or double the complete lot (base+status bonus) if flying VA Y?

More details are out - this offer applies to all EY flights, VA29/30 (to/from AUH) and VA codeshares on EY metal:

From 1 October 2013, Velocity Members have the opportunity to earn double Velocity points when travelling in economy and premium economy class, or triple Velocity points when travelling in business and first class, on eligible Virgin Australia and Etihad Airways flights until 30 November 2013. To earn double or triple bonus points, Members must:
1. Register online by 31 October 2013
2. Have an eligible booking in the system
3. Travel on an eligible flight between 5 October – 30 November 2013
4. Velocity Members must register their Velocity Frequent Flyer number online between 1 – 31 October 2013 to be eligible for this promotion.

Eligible Bookings:
• Bookings created via the GDS, API or Virgin Australia website;
• Velocity Any Seat bookings.

Eligible Flights:
• Members must travel on an eligible Virgin Australia and/or Etihad Airways flight between 5 October & 30 November 2013;
• This offer is valid for flights:
o VA29 and VA30
o VA7000-7499
• Any Etihad Airways operated flight with an EY flight number;
• Eligible flights are flights on which points can be earned and booked in a fare class that normally accrues points.

Ineligible Flights:
• Codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines other than Virgin Australia or Etihad Airways are not eligible for this offer;
• Velocity Reward Seat bookings.

Bonus Points:
• Bonus points are earned on base points only;
• The Points Bonus earned by Platinum, Gold and Silver members will not attract bonus points;
• Bonus points will be applied to the originally purchased fare class;
• Members do not earn bonus points on upgrades

That makes a bit more sense! I would have been very surprised if it was double points on domestic bookings.

There is no mention of the need for bookings to be new!

My daughter is travelling on EY38 CDG-AUH and EY6450 AUH-SYD (operated by VA) next week.

I've registered her velocity number for the bonus, hopefully these flight numbers will qualify.

My double points were finally credited yesterday for flights taken on 31 October and 4 November, which has resulted in Velocity overtaking my Qantas Frequent Flyer points for the first time!
