Double stay credits until December 31

Just received this email:
I assume it is targeted and may have something to do with the fact I've not had as many stays in the last 6 months as usual, I ran the risk of losing gold for next year but won't let it slip now.

Anybody else get the email?

No, but wish I had. Am on track for Gold but not near retaining diamond. A double base points / stay offer would give me the incentive to go for it.

Is it just stays, or also points and nights that count double?

Just double stays.
Not sure how HH would go about it, but perhaps you could contact them just letting them know you're aware of the offer and would like something similar??

I'm even further away on stays so prob not worth it. Tend to get to tiers via points (pricey rooms, but also room service / spa treatment / laundry - when travelling solo anyway).

There is the word "in" on there, but just realised I must have had my cursor over it so it activated the hyperlink on the email.

It does seem targeted. Did you have to register, or just use the link? (It doesn't bother me as I've requaled anyway)

There is no registration link and the Terms&Conditions just say that any booking made will count.. I'm going to call HH and ask for clarification though to see if its linked to my profile etc.
