Double Status Points - Flybuys offer

Just received this email from Flybuys:

"Dear Jurahn

Congratulations on linking your flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer memberships! You are now earning Velocity Status Credits when you shop and you can now also transfer your flybuys points to Velocity Points;

As an introductory offer, from Tue 1 Nov 2016 until Saturday 31 Dec 2016 you will get DOUBLE Status Credits for every $100 spent across Coles, Coles Online, Liquorland and First Choice Liquor per calendar month (this can be across multiple transactions). So now that's 2 Status Credits for every $100 spent - which means you could earn up to 20 Velocity Status Credits per calendar month"

Couldn't hit the Activate button fast enough LOL. I can't see anything in the Ts & Cs indicating this is a targeted offer, so I assume all Flybuys members will receive it.

I received the same offer,but am unable to activate it,i will give it another try Wed before trying to contact Fly Buys and see what the problem is.

I had trouble activating it as well - when I tried to click on the Activate button, the mouse pointer stayed as an arrow instead of turning into the little "hand" as it usually does, and clicking produced absolutely no result whatsoever. I moved the mouse pointer to almost/just off the bottom edge of the button and voila, the little hand appeared, it took a couple of clicks but the "congratulations, you've activated this offer" screen appeared. I logged into my Flybuys account to check, just in case, and it shows as activated. If you still can't activate from the email link, trying going into your Flybuys account - it should be listed under "My Offers" and see if you can activate it from there.

Am chasing points rather than SC. My points from Sunday have loaded- $58 spend, 1000 VFF! The speed is great while the 15% bonus is available. Happy days, looking forward to another bonus this week

I received the same offer and when I signed into hubbys FlyBuy account, I saw that he also had the offer so I activated it on his Flybuy account as well.

I have not yet linked my VFF and Flybuys accounts and received the offer. Hubby has already linked and did not receive it. He is higher status but not sure if that's relevant.

I have not linked this particular card/account and received the email offer.

Hubby has linked his account to Velocity and when i signed into his Flybuy account, the offer was there to activate so I activated it. Dont know if he got an email.

I linked my accounts last week when the partnership was announced. I did receive an email but saw the offer first in the "Offers Just For You" section of my Flybuys account. No problems when I activated it just a few minutes ago.

it was 10 SC per $100 in a month before bonus, 20 with bonus.
Read it again, its 1 or 2 SC per $100, so for 10 SC I have to spend $1000???

For clarity, all members get double SCs for spending, ie 2 SC's per $100 spent at Coles etc. Double SCs for VA flights is targeted.

If there are any colleagues who still have Telstra prepaid, recharged via Coles, as per email, no more bonus FB points, now back to 1 FB per $1 spent, used to be 1 normal plus 2 bonus.
Give with one hand take with 5 hands, it seems with this FB tie up with VFF.
Had high hopes for the tie up, but now not happy.
Not to mention, 1 SC per $100 spent, or a measly 2 SC per $100 for Nov & Dec.
And flying VA now only earns 5 SC!
