Just wondering if anyone had experienced the Club IC at Double Bay.

I have a AMB cert to use and have stayed there before which I quite enjoyed but did not have the pleasure of using the Club.

Wondering if I bother trying it, or just stay with the superb view of the Sydney IC.

Wife and I have stayed at the Sydney IC many times but she has not stayed at Double Bay and is interested in giving that a go, but if the club is a let down we will probably just stay in the city as it is not really rooftop pool/bar weather in June.

Cheers

Nug

No responses in a month.... hmm, is that a good sign or not?

I'm there Wednesday night so will give some feedback.

Nug, it is a nice property but overall I would not recommend. On phone now so rather not write chapter and verse. I did take a refreshing plunge in the rooftop pool - FYI it is not really a pool-bar because it's just a phone to order "room service" up to the poolside.

I wasn't very impressed when we stayed there last year either. None of the staff even knew that they had a spa (well spa affiliation with one that is on their property). When we were there (July 2015), they had just had a mass exit of staff, and the was just after another property came and hired all of their concierge staff overnight!
