You are unlikely to be able to book an EK codeshare flight number for a purely Australian domestic itinerary. In most cases, using a codeshare flight number can only be done in conjunction with an international flight with that carrier . So the best way to find the options will be to use the EK online booking site. But note that the Emirates site won't allow booking QF domestic flights for the reason noted above.

thanks NM
just wanted a way to help retain my platinum skywards as I may be one international flight short to keep it!
Back to QF then.....

This is perhaps one area where QF has lost out in this partnership, as it stands now, a Skywards member could book Qantas or Virgin for an additional flight in Australia not connected to their international ticket, as neither would credit to Skywards. Doesn't really help lock in their customers to flying Qantas over here, while OneWorld will allow that for the most part.

I don't know whether all QF domestic flights have EK codeshare numbers however even if they do you can't add credit a QF flight to your EK ff program just because there's a codeshare in place. You would need to book the domestic flight via the EK website as an EK marketed (ie sold as EK) flight in conjuction with an international EK flight eg trans Tasman.
