Does Qantas ever send out emails to entice you to go to the next level?

Just curious

I actually had exactly 300 status credits plus 2 QF sectors flown (with more booked in the system after the renewal date) but not the required four.
Just wondered if they ever sent out emails or anything to let you know you're close to the next status and only "whatever" is required for the next level.

Oct 31 was the cut off and now they've reset back to O. Would have been nice to be silver at least with them. LOL

Just was wondering as Virgin do things when it occurs, but thought QF may have at some point.

Don't know if this helps you or not but...

I was sitting on 240SC at the start of October and they sent out a DSC offer clearly stating that they wanted to help me reach PS by giving me double status credits for any new bookings made until the end of the year (which is also the end of my calendar year). Although I did already have the minimum 4 squiggly lines.

Another member posted on another thread here that their +1 was PS and sitting on 160SC with 3 months of their year left and was sent a DSC offer.

IMO the "we want to help you get X level" wording for double SC is just marketing spin. There are plenty of reports of people with the required flights booked in getting those words. Also double SC would not have helped the OP who needed 2x~. I've not heard of a double ~ offer yet. ;)

Actually I recieved one yesterday. Funny thing is, that it occured between crediting all my recent flights. Or to be more exact, I received it on the 02.11. But the last segment was credited on the 01.11. Email is stating my details as of 30.10. But no DSC. :(

Here is the email:
