hi

just wondering if anyone knows where i can buy the models (diecast) of the Qantas and Cathay pacific planes? i travel to HK evey couple of months and noticed them in the mags but surely you can buy them online at a better price? i think the model for CX is the A330 for the Melb to HK leg?

thanks

Theres a shop in the centre of HKG that sells models. They even had an Ansett 747 in there last time I looked.

What scale is the most common/popular?

I have lots of different scales. My preference is 1:400 as it provides some detail and does not require too much real estate to display. But I have some 1:200 plastic and resin models (QF 744, QF 747SP, DJ 738). I also have some 1:500 scale, but they lose some detail.

They range in quality, from the cheap Corgi models (can be good value) to Herpa and Dragon Wings models.
