Hello
I am a usual economy traveller, having done BNE-MCO many times usually via LAX or lately via DFW on Qantas or American. It is a long haul and as I get older have been looking for more premium seating but can't swallow the cost. In 2026 there are 3 of us adults and I have the option of the usual AA economy BNE-DFW-MCO, and I see Delta fly BNE-SYD (overnight stay)-LAX-MCO, partnering with Virgin for the Aussie domestic flight, for about $2314 per passenger (one-way) for their Premium Select seating on their A350-900 to LAX, which is not bad price wise.
This is a longer overall route and requires an overnight stay in Sydney, but would provide a better seat on the long haul. My question is, has anyone flown in this seat and do you think it is much of an upgrade compared to QF or AA economy?
