Delta on VA Ticket

Howdy

I have a Delta flight from LAX - LAS on the A319 in October. I am travelling VA J to LAX. Cheapest flight then domestic. I am Platinum with VA.
What kind of recognition will I get with Delta ie seating allocation? I note the Delta flight departs from Terminal 5 @ LAX and there is a lounge has anybody had trouble with lounge access?

Seating isn't a benefit you're entitled to, though I'd recommend going to delta.com, pulling up your reservation and seeing if you can allocate a preferred seat for free.

As for lounge access at LAX, I've never had any problems getting in (they definitely want to see a Velocity card though).

I went to Delta.com and logged in and upgraded to the Economy comfort for $30 bucks for both Delta flights. Lucky as I was at the back of the Bus
