Delta ARPT Status?

I have just checked my online receipt from Delta and it is showing MEL/LAX status as ARPT, US domestic flights as OPEN and LAX/SYD/MEL flights status as ARPT. Would someone kindly enlighten me as to what ARPT and OPEN status mean? :)
