Delay in Velocity SC posting?

Anyone experiencing delays in SC posting lately?

My 28 Nov flight was posted fine on 30 Nov.

However, the 2 Dec OOL-SYD hasn't been posted yet. Normally it takes 2-3 days?

Could it be that I was moved to an earlier flight due to operational reason (weather)? I can see the booking via Velocity in Compelted Bookings and my Velocity number is showing correctly. :oops:

Someone on the same flight hasn't received the SC or points either.
 
I'm waiting on multiple flights to credit from 2 Dec (SYDMEL, MELOOL, OOLSYD) and they haven't posted either.
Recently it's all been in under 48 hours, but in the past they have taken up to a week.

Really keen to see these ones post as they will get me to gold!! :p

I'm not losing sleep over it, but I am keen to see it happen, especially as I go overseas with SIA in mid January and want to have my gold card with me...

I got rerouted due to weather in BNE on the 4th Dec by VA and havent got my SC posted yet. When I tried to do the missing points claim online with Velocity it rejected saying the sector had already credited even though the flights and SC have not posted. Yet another VA/Velocity website fail....
 
I have got any SC or points yet for 2nd of December flights.
 
Nothing posted for 3rd Dec flights either ... once they hit i will be gold
 
Just got off the phone with Velocity call centre - as I was re-routed due to weather Velocity had to manually proccess the claim - so anyone who has been rerouted onto different flights/destinations/transit points due to weather in early December would probably want to make a claim for the missing points and SC's over the phone with Velocity if they do need them.

Just called them but was told differently. They checked the booking and confirmed that my velocity number was linked to the correct flight. I was told that they can't do anything and asked me to wait 14 days before making a claim for missing points / SC. :(

Well thats interesting. Our situations may or may not have have been different, as I flew from my origin to final destination via a different transit and therefore on different flight numbers than the original booking, my reprinted boarding passes had my Velocity number on them. I was re-routed before my first flight of the day. I was also told it would take from 7 to 14 days to get the missing SC & points credited but the operator I spoke to indicated that I would not have to call again. If you tried it - what happened when you tried to do a missing points claim on line on the Velocity web site?

MrsF is waiting on flights from 2nd, 4th & 6th of December to post.... Approx 180scs. Normally there in 2-3 days, but given the number of people rasing the issue this week it seems there is definitely an issue with Velocity atm.
As a matter of interest, do we have an official VA rep on the board ?

Well my missing Velocity SC's and points for re-routed flights on the 3rd Dec were apparently credited yesterday (7th Dec) and posted today (8th Dec) - so its possible my call to Velocity may have prompted some action although difficult to be sure.

Still waiting. Just claimed missing points online and let's see if it does credit in 7 days.
 
This would always be the case when I'm waiting on the final points to get me to gold! :mad:
Any idea, once the points actually credit, how long it takes them to a) recognise the new status, and b) mail out the card?
Flying o/s mid January and pretty sure I'll need the card when flying with International Partners for lounge access etc...
 
Seems to be a pattern here... I am waiting for flights from the 3rd & 6th December. Normally 48 business hours.... Not worried though, I am sure they will turn up eventually. They haven't failed me yet.

We are still waiting for last weeks flights to post. Everything from 3rd December onwards.
 
Just spoke with velocity. The rep I talked to was blissfully unaware of any issues with delays (despite me mentioning I wasn't alone).
He said he raised requests for manual crediting to take place and that I had 7 working days before I should call back. Hopefully that solves it.

When I lodged a retro claim the system told me the points had already credited (they hadn't) hence the call.
Hope this helps. I'd recommend checking that, and calling if in the same situation.
