Delay in issuing eticket

I managed to get a QF J award phone booking for 3 JL flights In Aug 2018. Its been a week now and still no eticket. Also my credit card has not been charged for the fees and charges. Im used to tickets being issued immediately and am getting a tad concerned. Is this usual...advice much appreciated.
 
I've been waiting two weeks now for a re-jigged EK award to be ticketed that was done over the phone. Same here, no cc charge and no 5k point service fee taken from my account yet either.

I Followed up on the chat line. One agent told me it had been ticketed and to ignore the message on EK MMB that says it's unticketed. When I pressed, another agent took over the chat and said he'd placed it in the 'urgent queue'. Flights aren't until next July so I'm not hugely concerned yet, but it is the first time I've known QF not to ticket within half an hour.
 
Both of you need to keep calling until it is ticketed... any award that is not an award for just QF travel should be ticketed within 24-48 hours to avoid loss of seats.

They put things in a queue. It isn’t automatic. If it was Qatar I’d be very worried. Keep calling.

Made another phone call expressing my concern about the ongoing delay and the agent then put me on hold to contact the ticketing area. By the time she came back to me the ticket had been issued...dont know why this process requires prompting and follow up for the ticket to be issued. The reward availability on the flights had closed up and was concerned I would lose the booking. Any way its done now...phew!
