Hi all. Would like to get your advice on staying at Singapore
Changai. I arrive at 0500 on Korean air and dont depart until 2000 that same day on Singapore air. I take it the transit hotels wouldnt be advantageous as i would have to collect my checked luggage?

As a price comparison, I have previously booked 8 hours in the CP for SGD180++. I see Yotel is from SGD140++. I think the CP will have less constrained size rooms. I wonder how quiet the Yotel is. There are apparently quite a few 'staycations' at Jewell which may explain it's slightly too high price.

You do not need to collect your luggage immediately on arrival after the Korean air flight.

On landing you can go to your airside hotel, and on check out, head to immigration and bag claim. Just make sure you 'enter' Singapore at the same terminal you arrived (if you land at T1, but use the hotel in T3, you must head back to T1 to clear immigration as that's where your bag will be).

Your bag will be taken off the carousel and stored securely adjacent to the carousel in the left luggage office. Have done this several times and works perfectly.

you can then check in for your onward flight.

If the KE/SQ flights are on the one ticket they will probably check your bags through the whole way anyway.
