Finally after being told the new Y/J seat product would not be on the CNS/HKG run (7 hours direct) was announced yesterday it will be as of 28th October, no more squeezed into the old J class coffins and Y pax no more hard seats without recline, best thing is new PE @ $2800 return. Not cheap for PE but saves going to SYD and one nights accom. unless 6am start to Int.connect.

I flew new CX J yesterday (CX104) and was really impressed. My only slight whinge is that the gap to the leg rest is almost too long. I'm just under 6' and I had to stretch. Space, comfort, IFE, privacy all brilliant. Well done CX.

Many are raving about all the CX new seats, think other airlines are getting them too.

trying out the new Y soon which is meant to be great also and almost too 'close' to Y+
