Customer Service - expectations vs reality

Based upon reading good reviews on tripadvisor, I sent two emails Sunday morning to a hotel in LA and one in Vegas.

I think I am fair and live in a realistic world, do you think I should have had a response with in 48 hours?

My expectations are with in 24 hours some sort of response, but nothing.

Of course Sunday morning is mid AM in LA on the Saturday, its possible staff may not be responding to emails until normal work hours, its just past 4PM on Monday in LA. I would give them a couple of days of normal work hours before I called out poor service, especially with the LOTFAP service ethic.
