Question
My trip is end of next week.
When l made the booking, l was given;
- US Airways Ticket Number (13 Digits)
- US Airways PNR
- TG PNR
- LH PNR
No e-ticket.

Do l just turn up to the counter in SYD, TG F desk with my passport and say, 'i'm on so-so flight to xyz with TG PNR?'

The eticket number should show up when you input your reservation in to "Manage my reservations" on the US Airways website. You can print your reservation from here if you like. As long as that is all good all you will need to show is your passport, but yes I do print off and carry all the PNR's and e-ticket numbers on me for back up but have never been asked for anything else after just handing my passport over.

Just got off the phone (*** Call to US Dividend Miles, duration 2:11:19. ***), 1 hour 20 mins of that was spent on hold

Anyway, an interesting comment was made by the agent at the end of the call that September/October I should check the website, as there will be another buy 1 mile get 1 free promo on.

Thanks for that...

If true I know I'll be tempted again.. even though using these miles is making it hard for me to requalify as *G!!!!

How's THAT for a "First World problem"?

I realise you will have already done your trip but for others: you can check in online on the TG website up to 24 hours before departure. We did this and then just showed up with our passports at the SYD TG F checkin. They knew who we were before I even opened my mouth. Same in BKK and MXP. On the way over (SYD-BKK-FRA) they could only issue us with BPs for the first leg in SYD and we had to check in again at BKK. On the way back the MXP checkin girl was able to issue us our BPs for both legs.

Strange they couldn't give you both boarding passes first up?

I received my boarding passes for SYD-BKK-CDG all at SYD

Would be great for another promotion to come in September, my fiancé and I are in Lucern at the moment and already talking about our next USDM redemption :)

We were there (Luzern) last week and stayed for five days as part of our trip. Weather was a little odd but otherwise we had a great time. It's a good central base in Switzerland.

Yes, l went to the TG website, entered the PNR (made sure l was in the system) and printed it out.
Rocked up at Sydney and just flashed my passport, same on return, in Budapest and Bangkok (stopped for 3 days).
