Cruiseco have some fantastic deals, we just became Cruiseco members which opens up great travel opportunities for clients on top of the awesome ones Virtuoso does.

I'd be in favour but I guess being a frequent flyer based site some may argue against it.

Some might argue against it, but not me. There are several members who cruise regularly. Drron is currently on a cruise heading up the Amazon and I am currently on one in the Caribbean. In most cases you need to fly to get to a cruise, just as you fly to get to a hotel :) There is a lot of good information about opportunities and it is one area where you should consider using a travel agent, certainly one who specialises in cruises. There are a number in Australia and many o/s who can offer better than the normal deal. I'd be interested to see a AFF section as there is on FT.

Been using cruisemiles.com for
a while. Sailed on one cruise so far and two more booked next year. Points required to book a cruise or win one of the auctions have risen with time.

Savings off normal prices are very good.

Ah, yes, but FFers have to fly to get to many cruise ports around the world :D
I'd love to see a cruise discussion - great idea Major.

I certainly wouldn't mind a cruise section.FT have one and they by their name started as a flying site.
Beside we already have hotel, bank and even dedicated supermarket loyalty schemes with their own sections so a dedicated cruise section would not be out of place.

I think that seeing as though some cruises can be purchased via points, as well as the fact it is one of the most popular holiday options out there, I'd be interested in seeing a forum on it. I've never been on one, but hoping to within the next 18 months or so

Well I'm about due to start planning my next cruise, so wouldn't oppose.

So far I've cruised with P&O, Princess and Royal Caribbean. I don't however participate in cruise centric forums as I don't cruise nearly as often as I fly :)

Never done a cruise but it is on my bucket list just not sure where I want to go.

I'm waiting until the walking sticks need to be purchased;) Given I'm about to turn 45.....I reckon I've got another 40+ years to go:D

Sometimes I see Cruises Adevrtising on the forum so I guess it could bring in another revenue stream for the forum.

At 28, I certainly do my bit to bring the average age onboard down a few notches :)

Check out Seadream Yacht Club, that's my idea of a fun "cruise" experience.

Having said that would love to cruise Seabourn, Crystal and a few of the other high end cruising co. as well

Neither have I. I do know I want to do a transatlantic trip and it has been funny reading so much info online where people cannot stress strongly enough that it's a crossing and not a cruise. LOL.

Just booked an Eastern Caribean cruise for March next year through Cruise Pilot affiliated with Virgin and triple Velocity Points on the payment

Discovered river cruising a couple of years ago, new places everyday but no need to pack up. So far have done Lyon to Arles, Moscow to St Petersberg, Saigon to Siem Reap plus Norway coast (not really a river!)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I also booked a 3 night cruise SIN-SIN through Cruise pilot. Total price for a balcony cabin was about $1100 (including $300 SGD food and drink voucher). 2760 Velocity points plus gold bonus of 2070 points.
Not bad
