Does anyone know the repercussions for crossing from Kosovo to Serbia without having entered Serbia first/leaving without an entry stamp? I am entering Kosovo from Macedonia and hoping to exit on the Mitrovica-Belgrade train as my flight departs from Belgrade. Smartraveller advises against this as Serbia does not recognise Kosovo's independence. When I left Moldova after crossing from Transnistria I was fined 25 euro. Something like that I would be happy to cop to avoid the hassle of returning to Skopje and taking the roundabout route to Serbia. I'm more concerned about being temporarily banned from future visits. Any previous experiences of this or similar border crossings would be appreciated.
