Miss Halliday recently joined us on a trip in the month before her anniversary date which should have pushed her into PS. But her 290SC wiped on her anniversary date and her status remained Bronze. I thought this was weird as she should have collected 2x25SC for the JQ plus bundle trip.

As the trip didn't show in her activity statement I waited a week or so just in case it was slow updating, but then went back to the original booking and found I had entered Mrs Halliday's FF number rather than Miss Halliday's.

I made a claim via the QF website but wasn't optimistic because usually JQ is a separate company when things go wrong and in any case it was my stuff up, not QFF's.

But to my surprise it was processed within 48 hours. The SCs posted. Miss Halliday is now PS (something her mother hasn't managed due to anniversary date difference). They even credited status bonus points for the return sector of the previous month's trip.

Maybe my expectations were too low, but this was well handled by QFF without any fuss and they deserve to be praised for it.

Well done Red Roo & team. You've made Miss Halliday very happy:p, her NB mother jealous  and saved her daddy from the dog house.

QF are generally quite good at backdating SC's when this occurs.
