I know this question has been done to death over the years but the rules have changed also with many CC companies.

I am looking for a credit card which will allow FF points to be credited for ATO Tax/BAS bill spend.

I know the Westpac Kris Flyer Card still credits 1.5 points per dollar on the Amex option but this card is no longer available except to those who already have it.

I also know that Amex will allow 0.5 points per dollar but this is hardly worth it when you are paying 1.45% commission to the ATO to use it.

Does anyone know of any card out there that will at least allow 1 point per dollar for ATO spend?

Living in Hope!

Many thanks,

Mitch

My ATO spend goes either to:

Anz QFF Black @ 1.5 QFF points per $, or

CBA Diamond Amex @ 1.5 velocity points per $ (or better if bonus transfer).

Both ANZ Black Amex and CBA Diamond (Black) Amex still pay 1.5 Qantas FF points per ATO dollar spent. Non-bank "Amex Business Platinum Charge" pays 1 point under their Premium Rewards program which can be "banked" and transferred one-for-one to a variety of airline programs including Qantas FF. There may well be other cards, but they're what I use, Amex-wise at least.

I have to disagree with this statement, we use a AMEX Business Platinum charge card and we only obtain 0.5 points for ATO transactions.

Apologies - nothing to disagree with, no argument, I was simply incorrect re that card. I wait 5 years to make my inaugural post - then stuff it up. You're quite correct, all the non-Bank Amex cards pay .5 points per ATO dollar spent. Apparently, at least for a while, another non-bank Amex, the David Jones Amex paid .75 points on ATO spend, but that may have been closed.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
